Waste Heat Recovery Opportunities at Gas Turbine Compressor Stations

Background:      In a 2008 INGAA white paper entitled “Waste Heat Recovery Opportunities for Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines”, interstate pipeline members voluntarily agreed to post compressor station locations that might present waste heat recovery opportunities.  Specifically, pipeline members agreed to post compressor station locations that have a total gas turbine station capacity of at least 15,000 hp; and, such stations operate more than 5,250 hours per year, or at a 60 percent load factor, over the previous 12 months.

Results:            Black Marlin Pipeline Company does not own or operate gas turbine compressors.
